Who we are

My AI Scouts is an AI-powered research interview platform operated by My AI Scouts (“we”, “us”, “our”). We help researchers and organisations collect insights from participants through AI-conducted interviews.

What data we collect

Account holders (researchers)

Email address and password (via Supabase Auth)
Interview briefs and objectives you create
Participant responses collected through your scouts
Usage activity (which scouts you create, when)

Participants (interview respondents)

First name (as provided on the welcome screen)
Your spoken or typed responses during the interview
Time and date of participation

Technical data (all users)

IP address and browser information (standard server logs)
Authentication cookies required for session management

How we use your data

To provide the interview and research platform
To generate AI summaries of interview conversations
To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
To improve the reliability of the platform

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use interview responses to train AI models.

Data retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Interview transcripts and participant responses are retained for up to 90 days after the interview is completed, after which they are deleted.

You may request earlier deletion at any time (see “Your rights” below).

Cookies

We use only essential cookies required to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Delete your data (“right to be forgotten”)
Export your data in a portable format
Object to certain processing

Children

My AI Scouts is not intended for use by anyone under 13 years of age. If you are under 13, do not use this service. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
